KALAT: A policeman was martyred when unidentified armed men attacked a checkpost in Kalat on Monday night. According to details, miscreants attacked a police check post in Kalat town of Kalat district of Balochistan. A cop was martyred in the attack and the assailants fled the scene after retaliatory action of police. The body of martyred policeman was moved to the hospital for postmortem.
Meanwhile, security forces recovered a cache of arms from a vehicle and arrested three culprits in Dara Adam Khel, Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday. According to the ISPR, security personnel stopped a vehicle for checking in Dara Adam Khel of Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA). During the search of the vehicle, arms including SMGs, 30 bore, 9MM, 12 bore repeaters, rifles and ammunition were recovered and three people on board were arrested. Security forces impounded the vehicle. Separately, three terrorists of banned Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) were arrested with arms, prohibited literature and CDs on Monday.
